Printer and Cutter setups missing in Production Manager!!!

Ok, Came in this morning and started production manager and it opens with no machine setups listed, looks just like it does when you do a fresh install. Then the window pops up that you choose your cutters and printers from. All the jobs I had saved are gone too!

What happened?? Any way to bring them back?

I can browse through my Flexi folder on the hard drive and all the setups are still shown in the jobs folder and all the jobs are still there but they don't show up in Production Manager.

I have a server that backs up everynight so I restored the whole Flexi folder but the same thing happens when I open Production Manager.:banghead:

This happens from time to time. What you have to do is clear your preferences, this will wipe out anything you have saved under flexi so either move it or lose it

There may be no option but to recreate the plotter setups. However going forward after you have done so, Flexi 7.6 and higher have included the ability to store those setups via the Preference Manager (Start Flexi/ SAi > Preference Manager). If you save the setups in Preference Manager, they can be easily reinstalled in the future.

Figured it out! There is a file called Settings.PRF in the Flexi Folder. Replaced it with one from my back up server and everything is good!

Backups are great!

I'll look into to that. I didn't know that was a possibility. Thanks

The Settings.PRF file is what the Preferences Manager creates for the storage of the setups. Glad to hear that you had it backed up.
