Rad Grafix print/cut alignment off

Hi! We have a Roland TrueVIS VG2-540.

My print/cut alignment is always good on "regular" laminated vinyl (3M IJ35C vinyl/3M 8508 lam).

I'm trying to print/cut a 6 mil Rad Grafix vinyl (not laminated) and the alignment is WAY off.

I've tried: printing one repeat at a time, one row of repeats at a time, adjusting the print/cut alignment settings in the printer menu. I tried printing on my regular 3M vinyl, no laminate... got same bad alignment when I told it to print & cut in the same job. But got GOOD alignment with regular vinyl when I printed first with registration marks, then lined up the marks and told it to cut. But that trick did not work with the Rad Grafix vinyl.

I can't think of any other things to try. Or any logical reason this should be happening.

Any ideas? :-D
Thanks!

Did you play around with the cut adjustments? It appears to be out about the same along the way, you should be able to adjust and bring it much closer.

Very strange, it should change it at least a little bit. How do the pinch rollers look, any of them look broken?

That's a good thing in a way I suppose. How many do you have on, just 2 or do you have all the extras on as well? Have you tried with different amounts of them? Although I don't think this is your issue if you can get it to work with other medias. I know you can use 6mil vinyl's, as I use an Oracal 6 mil on my SG-300 without issue. Do you do a print and cut or do you print, cut the sheet off and put it back on and cut?

I've used all the rollers each time. I've tried both ways... print and cut all in one "send" AND print-manually reposition-cut.

Have you tried with just the 2 rollers, shouldn't give you better results, but as you've exhausted other options, couldn't hurt. What does the test cut adjustment look like when you try that? Is it way out of alignment as well?
