Recommendation for Poster Prints

We are slowly morphing into a local print shop and have gotten requests to print psters for schools and other people for short term use. They just need a cheap color poster. I have both an HP800W Latex and a Canon IPF4400. I feel like the Canon is overkill, but the HP Latex doesnt print well on paper media. My HP prints really good on adhesive vinyls, but i dont want to give my customer something with a liner on the back. What material would you recommend for printing cheap posters (around 18x24 with some smaller text and images)?

Thanks!

HP Latex 630/ 7x0, 8x0 printers print beautifully to a very wide range of papers. They are the best paper Latex printers ever released.

I have successfully printed to uncoated bond papers, aqueous coated poster papers, solvent coated poster papers, photo papers, and synthetic PP papers. Obviously uncoated bond papers are not going to produce the same chromatic range that coated papers do, but for basic posters, they offer very attractive image quality at a very very low cost - see attached.

Yeah OP just try different paper brand you will likely be surprised of the difference.

Sometimes simply the settings are wrong in the profile.
