Removable vinyl for amusement/festival vinyl tent?

I have a client in the event equipment rental business and they have a client who wants to brand one of their vinyl tents with a logo for an event on the canopy. The logo will be approximately 4' x 4' and is only going to be on for a couple days, but will be subjected to sun, heat and possible rain. It needs to be removed easily and cleanly from the vinyl tent without leaving behind any adhesive residue so the tent can be rented out to the next client without any issues. I would be printing on an HP L360. Any experience or suggestions? Thank you

Make a 4' x 4' 11oz banner and tape it on. Easily removeable and the customer gets a banner out of it afterwards.

That's an idea, but what tape would you recommend that would have the same characteristics...removable, won't leave behind adhesive residue and also is strong enough to hold a banner secure to a canopy/peak of a vinyl tent?

Other than using 4 grommets, there will be a certain amount of residue left behind. It will just hafta be rubbed off and cleaned with adhesive remover. Add that into the cost to protect yourself. You could just duct tape it on. :Big Laugh MacGyver style............ He's becoming popular again.

I doubt it would hurt it in any way to get it wet.... and it should be fine for a while outdoors. Aother option would be Busmark or some other low tack transit vinyl.

Oracal 3169, the removable version of 3165? No lam for short term use and it's removable for 3 years. Should work fine for your needs and it's cheap.

We went through ij35, 40, 180, oracal 3165, 3651, 3169, 3751, Avery 1005, and arlon 6000xrp before realizing that 480 was the only thing that stocked well and didn't curl in the heat. YMMV but take it from 4 years of trial and error in that industry.

For just a few days, PhotoTex all the way. I put a piece on the vinyl siding on my house once, for more than a year, all weather, did fine.
