Hi!

I am wondering if it is possible tp direct sublimation print flag (Polyester) with a Roland CJ-500?

Do you need to re-build the machine?

We currently use the cj-500 with pigment ink but we have a fairly new XC-540 so we would like to direct print more flags and textile banners.

Hoping for more knowledge!

It looks like this machine is a solvent-based ink jet. Direct to fabric ink is water based. It is always a bad idea to mix solvent and water-based inks. I don't know if there is any option to convert the machine. To get the best info about this, you should probably talk to someone from Roland or a distributor of Roland.
