Roland print and cut error

Hi,

I hope someone can help. I have a Roland VP 540 that is never ever faulted in the six years that I’ve had it and now all of a sudden the print and cut alignment is about a centimetre out in some places but not in all places I use Corel draw and just vector Graphics Some of the cuts are quite detailed but like I say it’s never before had any problems it’s just started doing this. I tried many things reinstalling the software versaworks I tried Flexi but they all do the same so I bought a new printer a VS 540 from a reputable company and they serviced it, still quite old I know but it’s a new to me And it does exactly the same thing so this shows me it wasn’t the printer. It must be a software issue I have bought a new laptop. I have reinstalled coreldraw which I have on a subscription basis so it’s always current. I have Windows 11 and versa works 5.51 which is the newest one that works with my printer as I mentioned I tried Flexi and his production manager as I don’t need the draw version of it as I use Corel and export all my files as EPS I have even tried PDF but this makes no difference. Has anyone had this issue? Does anyone know what? Maybe it could be? Where do I go from here? I’m getting rather bald with pulling all my hair out and it’s been an expensive trial to try and get this to rework.

Orders are getting old and refunds are being sent as this issue has slowed everything down or at least put everything to a stop. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you

Mark

If it is the artwork in corel select view as wireframe and see exactly where your cut lines are. It sounds like you have some extra ones that aren't visible normally but VW is reading them.
Expporting as an EPS shouldnt cause any problems
You can also select the whole graphic in Corel, remove all fills and set all outlines to black. This will also let you see all the outlines and cut lines that are on the artwork
