Roland SP540v Sheet Cut

Good day All
I own a Roland Sp540v, the sheet cut all of a sudden stop cutting, when I press the sheet cut button, it moves as normal, but does not cut the media at all, Ive checked the blade, all seems fine, what I do notice is when it goes to the left then the blade goes down but once it reaches the bed it seems asif the blade goes up again, I hope this makes sense

The encoder strip might need to be cleaned/replaced- had same problem.
Replaced encoder strip and all worked great again.

You need to check the blade and reset the limit
