We have one ( Versa CO-640-F400) with UV EUV5 ink. with CMYK, White, Red, Primer and Gloss. Very good color but very slow.I have one. We went with the V-Bond ink. Cmyk with dual gloss and white. Had it for about a year now. Quality is really good but it is slow. We love it but if we had different circumstances we may have gone with a different printer. Depends on your needs.
We don't want to print large runs. We print for the artistic community. However, we encounter adhesion problems on certain materials such as coroplast.Wha5 are you trying to accomplish?
Hello,The V-bond will stick better.
However, you just may need a adhesion promoter.
Are you wiping down your substrate with 99% alcohol?
Here a a good adhesion promoter.
So far the v-bond sticks well. I haven’t compared it to the euv5 ink. I was told it adheres better by our rep and the Roland guys. We work a lot with museums too. We noticed it had less of a smell. We have one ( Versa CO-640-F400) with UV EUV5 ink. with CMYK, White, Red, Primer and Gloss. Very good color but very slow.
Printing in standard mode (16 passes) is not beautiful. White leaves a lot of traces of passage.
The print does not adhere to coroplast. Is the V-Bond ink adhering very well?
We are working with museums.
