VG#-540 Pefrcut Issues:

I'm having issues with the quality of my perfcuts. My cutter is bouncing the entire cut which leaves the edge of the decal looking like this. Somewhere along the way I change something and am banging my head against the wall as to what and how. Any Help?

-Versaworks/Flexi for cutlines
-Substance 2275 & 3375 with PL 3150 laminate

-Perf Length .787

-Perf force 240gf

-Halfcut Length . 039

Halfcut force. 30gf

If I check the cutting Conditions Settings(should this be checked?)

-Speed 30cm

-Cutforce. 240

-Blade offset. .5 with 60degree blade

What blade are you using? You really need to use the genuine Roland ZEC-U3050 for perf cut. It works the best.
also, I will tell you that most VG2 and 3’s, the cut carriage has not been adjusted properly from the factory. They are generally too low and they may be breaking the tips of the blades on the media clamps. You should have this checked by your Roland technician.
there is a proper adjustment height using the proper tool.
every single TruVis, since this line came out, have been too low on the cut carriage height adjustment.
I adjust everyone on install, and if it is a printer that I’ve not sold I still check the adjustment. I put a mark on the tool carriage so I know the adjustment has been performed.
