Roland XC-540 dropping/cancelling prints randomly

Long story short, older mobo died on our ripstation so I rebuilt a new pc using the exact same setup and software as we have used for the past 3 years and now randomly files will dissappear in versaworks (v4.1.1) during mid printing. Never have I had this problem ever. any ideas?
This doesnt always happen just sometimes....

Setup
Windows 2k Pro SP3
AMDII 245
Gigabyte Mobo M68M-S2P
2gb DDR2 800
Original 80gb HD

really the only difference is newer AMD hardware that replaced the older dated celeron slug. could that some how be it?

Roland XC-540 troubleshooting dropped or cancelled prints

From our experience, this can be caused by an IP address conflict, make sure the IP address for the XC-540 printer is unique if there are other computers or devices on your network. Also, performing a hard boot on the printer (turn off the printer completely then turn it back on).

It could also be a bug in the network adapter driver.
Try Updating the Network adapter driver or a different network card.
