Anyone own a Roland XG640? We have had Roland printers for over 20 years and replace them every 3-5 years, We have never had problems with excessive smell or TVOCs until now. We just got this XG640 and it is almost unbearable in the shop with it running. We bought a TVOC meter and we are seeing levels settle out at 1.3mg while printing and as high as 2.5mg at times. The V3G 640 that sits next to it sits around 0.1mg while Printing. The XG640 Seems to print great, Ink is affordable. Just the fact it has a strong smell and makes your eyes water to be around it is a problem.
