Scrambled files in Signlab

Silvertip

Silvertip Graphics Signs & Designs, Inc.
Hi there,

I am running Signlab 9.1 on 2 workstations. Once in a while one of the workstations will scramble a file.
I can open the same file on the other station and it will be fine.
I don't think it is a font issue as all of the fonts are the same. It also seems to happen randomly. As in, it does not happen with all files or with files that just have text. Sometimes, it will scramble everything and sometimes just portions of the file.

Once it happens then even on import it will scramble that file.

Has anyone had this kind of issue? If so, what the H#ll is going on lol! It is more of an annoyance as when this happens the other workstation is the only one that can now work on that file. It will look fine in preview but upon opening things will get all funky.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks all of you out there in Signworld!

I would suggest defragging the hard drive on the afflicted machine and a memory check for faulty ram sticks
