STOUTLAND, Mo. — Sign Fab®, Inc., a nationwide wholesale sign manufacturer, today announced the acquisition of St. Louis-based UFB Fabrication.
“This brings together two strong companies to create a more capable, more scalable wholesale partner for sign professionals,” said Candida Seibert, CEO of Sign Fab®, Inc.
While both companies serve the wholesale sign industry, their strengths are complementary. Sign Fab® is widely recognized for large-scale channel-letter manufacturing, cabinets, printing, and fast lead times, while UFB Fabrication is known for custom fabrication, monument signs, and pylon signs. The acquisition expands production capacity, broadens product depth, and increases operational flexibility.
The companies have operated for decades in the nationwide sign-manufacturing market as competitors, neighbors, and collaborators. Seibert said the acquisition formalizes a partnership both teams had been working toward for over a year.
“By combining our expertise and capacity, we help our retail sign partners, contractors, installers, and identity firms bid confidently, deliver consistently, and grow with a dependable wholesale team behind them,” Seibert said.

UFB Fabrication joins the Sign Fab® Family of Companies, which includes Charleston Sign Manufacturing of Charleston, Mississippi—acquired in 2023 for its pylon and post-and-panel capabilities—along with Sign Fab®’s channel-letter and custom sign divisions, SF Wholesale Printing, and Encompass-More, a sign supply distribution company, all headquartered at the Stoutland facility.
Collectively, the Sign Fab® Family represents a multi-division manufacturing and company-operated delivery network with nearly 200 employees and more than 160,000 square feet of production space, delivering the scale, specialization, reliability, and logistics support today’s sign professionals demand.
