Signcut

Using Signcut on my mac... illustrator cs5 as my design software.

When opening an eps in signcut, 9 times out of 10 it changes the original colors and things look all screwy. I've gone back into illustrator about a billion times to try to figure out where the problem is coming from... but at this point I don't think it is the image... it's gotta be something wrong with signcut.

Any ideas??
