Help me figure it out. Ink is sprayed from the left side of the picture. Always from one side. Changed LD1, LD2 modes. Adjusted head gap. Temperature 23C, humidity 40-50%. If you try to wipe with a stain, a black and red mark remains on the fabric. That is, it is black and purple dust.We also installed an ionizer. No result.

did you do a good cleaning? Check the cap stations for any wear, and the wipers. You can also replace the filters in the mist collector just to the left of the heads if you haven't already.

I've also had occasions where the laser will work out of adjustment slightly on our 6042's, so it's worth checking the head height in multiple locations on the table. It might be setting the head height farther than it thinks it is.

It's interesting that it appears randomly. We print 6 cases. The coating appears on one, then on two. Then on all, then on none. It doesn't depend on the position on the table.

take a block of metal or something, ideally a 10mm gauge block, but anything will work really. Put it at the front right corner of the table, have it auto find the height and write that down. Do the same thing at the back right, front & back center, and front & back left. It should be within like 0.2mm everywhere.

The mkiie's are better than the older ones, the laser adjustment part is all metal now instead of plastic, so it generally doesn't lose calibration as easily or as often.

Man who touches printers inappropriately.
The reason it is on the left side is because the printer only prints unidirectionally.

Check the underside of the ink carriage and make sure old ink hasn't built up around the heads.
