Greetings all! Been a lurker for some time and have used your site as a reference for maintenance for our jv3-75 spII.
Originally I was a software designer at the company but have inherited this responsibility.
The printer was not used for some time, and my predecessor didn’t do a very good job maintaining the cleaning on the equipment, your site has helped with that a lot.
My current problem, that is turning into a week long emergency is my black head stopped working. It doesn’t seem to print anything on a test draw even.
I’ve replaced the dampers, primed the lines up to the dampers using the syringe method, we have tested the pump by switching the pumps around, and ran many nozzle washes and head washes. We went as far as running cleaning solution through the lines down the pump from the capping station (I think that’s what its called) where the four heads rest and the pump and waste is taken. The solution went through he line no problem.
We seem to have ink up until the heads, through the new dampers, but its like the head for black is closed shut.
Any further suggestions? I’m desperate!
