Success with 3rd Party Print Heads?

Has anyone had success with 3rd party print heads for HP or Seiko Color Painter (Konica-Minolta 512). Third party vendors such as Digiprint Supplies or Signage Wholesale?

not quite the solution

hello my name is david and i am certified technician by Seiko Infotech Instruments, and can almost assure you that you will need to register your new printheads in the printer tech menu, so if by any means you introduce a wrong number (something that doesnt fit with the serial numbers of seiko it will not work), but i havent tried that with any printer, if you like to we can try it out (with only one print head) trought skype and i will guide you step by step.
