Did anyone witness the sky tonight.
The Crescent moon, Jupiter and Venus made an impressive Triangle formation.Don't worry if you didn't see it.Should be visible tomorrow 26th Feb as well.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.

And, as an added bonus, if you look due east about 10-20 degrees above the horizon there's a reddish light which is Mars.

The red part sounds cliche but red it is.

Does "The Pacific Northwest" ever have clear skies Rex? I'm just sayin'...

:ROFLMAO: Gee Arlo, Do you have to rub salt into the wound? There is a saying here with native Wa****onians, "If you like, or don't like the weather...wait a few minutes". It hailed last night...I was spray painting outside this morning at 8:30 am in the sun...by 9:00 am it was hailing and temperatures dropping...by 10:00 am it was snowing to beat hell...by noon the snow was gone...now at 4:30 I'm in the shop with the roll-up door open and enjoying the view of broken clouds and sun mix. Tonight is gonna be very cold, so it should be somewhat clear skies...maybe...
Just might get a view of it tonight....ya know...just sayin'...

...Oooops.......just closed the roll-up door.....getting crappy out there!

They say that these three are so bright that you can see them through thinner layers of clouds and through fog. Was a sight to see.

Yes, I have been enjoying it this week. Everything is really clear this week. Sirius and Orion also.

Orion has been really lovely and clear, agreed. Spent about 20 minutes just staring upwards on my way from the house to my car last night, neighbors probably think I lost it.

We were at a wedding this weekend. Standing outside with the bride and groom and we all took the time to notice how unusual it was. Nice, but cold night in Georgia

I love standing outside at night with Google Sky Map fired up on the smartphone.

A satellite finder app is handy too when "stars" go meandering by.

I've been a star gazer since the Big Bang.

You know, that is one of the downsides of celestial viewing. The neighbors get very suspicious. I believe there was an episode of Twilight Zone with the neighbors suspecting on of their own as being a hostile alien for this.
