Well, we all talk about those projects, we'd never show to anyone. Here ya go. This is what happens when the customer supplies her own artwork and insists on having it made.... even after getting the proof, which I thought would deter her from doing it.

She brought two pictures in of her llama and said she wanted it printed and cut out to put at trade shows so people can have their pictures taken and possibly win a prize. This lady and her husband own a build-it-yourself bathroom company and they do some rather nice work. It's just their ideas or imagination are kinda putrid. They set up at shows all over the place and if you get your picture taken, you're eligible for a free portion of a bathroom do-over. Guess ya get a toilet or something. Okay, it's a cute idea, but this llama looks like an ostrich with a camel's head. She didn't get the right perspective, lost the hind legs and feet and the head looks huge.

Thing is..... we did it out of gatorboard and have a total of about 10 minutes in computer time, but maybe a 1/2 hour of back & forth of e-mailing. She finally came in about two weeks ago and put her deposit down and said..... do it !! 15 minutes of printing, 10 minutes of cutting it out and another 10 minutes or so of making the legs. What, maybe an hour all total. Getting $425.00 and she feels like she's getting a deal.

I don't even care if I left money on the table or not. It's done and I don't have to look at this after 4:00 today.

So..... take a gander and have your laugh for the day...................... :ROFLMAO:

"A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald ... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one -- big hitter, the Lama -- long, into a 10,000-foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? 'Gunga galunga .... gunga, gunga-lagunga.' So we finish the 18th and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know?' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that going for me, which is nice."

Yeah, they do bathrooms, so they thought a shower cap would be purrty.

I met these people at a show about 2 years ago. SHE was in a make-shift shower stall, with that same shower cap on with water running down on her as if she was showering. Can you imagine having water beat down on ya for hours at a time ?? ...... for 3 days ?? Kinda makes more sense why she wants this b@st@rd of an animal with her.

I looked at the pic first (before reading the post) and thought it was the bad photoshopping of a llama's head onto an ostrich's body that you were talking about!

Nope. It's 24" x 76" direct flatbed print. No vinyl or laminate needed. They are building a traveling case for it, so they don't beat it up too bad. This is when I wish we had a cookie cutter..... I mean CNC. :Big Laugh
