UV / Gloss Help - Roland Printer

Cool Prints

New Member
Hello,

I have a Roland LEC2-640 and started running into this issue when apply a gloss layer on my prints. My LEC2-640 prints fine and did a test print with this gloss layer and it was good to go. But now, when running the prints there is a scorched mark at the begining of the prints when the gloss is applied.

Can anyone explain this or provide a route on how to fix this?

Attached are the good and bad print.

Thank you

I think the Gloss and Black ink channels share the same damper. Try replacing it with a new one. I had some odd ink colorant contamination similar to this....
