Up until a week ago my early Flexi version and VE GRC-61 was working great for more years than I can count, now I'm getting an error code "can not open port".
I've tried every port (and connections) multiple times, with no luck.
My setup connection is a Key Span U232 P-25 cable (USB to Serial).
I noticed the (power) indicator light on the on the Serial end of the cable was not illuminated when plugged into the computer.
I also noticed that if I unplug the USB end (computer) and then plug it back in, the light illuminates for about 7 or 8 secs and then extinguishes. Tried this 10 times, same every time.
So I'm suspecting the cable is bad, anybody have one or help finding one would be appreciated.
Looks like cable was manufactured by GCC but they were no help.
