When we click on "Printer Status" in VW we get the little window that shows the ink levels. What is the "Update" button for, what does it do and when should one click it?

Don't use VW Colin but I am pretty sure it is just to tell VW to poll the printer and update the ink levels on the fly.

I'm wondering two things:

Does the Update button update the software, or does it have to do with the ink levels only? If it polls all by itself, why the button?

It's just a refresh button. Like if you had the window up, and then print something you can click update, and it'll update the status of your inks.
