VG2-640 - Wiper tray and pad flooded

This friday I noticed that the tray pad was soggy and the wiper tray had liquid in it.

I did a "Drain Tray", watched the liquid disappear and installed a new tray pad.

This morning I come in to the shop only to see the new pad being soaked and the wiper tray (and the space underneath the tray pads) being full with liquid.

The printer prints as normal, but I've never noticed liquid in these areas before. The tray pad also usually is completely dry when I change it.

Any suggestions as to what's going on and how I fix it?

Thanks!

The regular drain from the pump is working as you saw it empty (via pump) and fill.
However, there is an overflow drain and tube, I believe in the front right corner, which must be clogged. This is making the side with the pad get wet.
Remove the cover at the wiper tray and you will see both drain lines.

Yeah, tried removing the top one - I need to remove the front one too, in order to remove the cover.

Instead, I tried draining the tray and giving it a good clean while it was empty - it had some gunk it it, and removing it seems to have solved the issue. The cleaner pad was dry this morning, so hoping it stays that was.

The liquid in the wiper trays is still pretty high, but I reckon that's normal? I've honestly never really noticed it before.

Thanks for helping out!
