vinyl signs shipping

ok guys i am trying to find out whats the best way to ship 12"x18" and 18"x24" vinyl signs one color and digitally printed also qty is goin to be from 10 sets up to 100 sets
Should i just use flat square boxes or use the tubular note that this is for large quantities.

Personally I'd go with boxes. It seems less likely to deform or damage the product in my opinion.

ok those boxes are 6" high so lets say 20 sets are 3" high what else would you put in the box to keep the signs tight so they dont move a lot.

buy adjustable boxes...
Say 18x24x3-6-9

The flaps adjust & can be trimmed/folded to make a box of different heights.
Ulne's S-4507 is 26x20 and can be 4"-6"-8"-10" or 12" deep. $1.83 each. pp33 in the catalog

There is space for corner protectors (pp242) too.

pp48 has a cool carton resizer (blade on a stick) to cut boxes down as needed. (not needed with above box)


If Uline is not in your city you may find shipping very expensive... check for a local corrugated box mfger... My local one (Advanced Packaging Specialist) is great. No more Uline for me if these guys can make it. No shipping at all...

almost 2 dollar is high for me i am looking for boxes inder a dollar which i found from uline but not adjustable. Also i do have uline here so its ok i just wanted to see different ideas

Every cardboard box is adjustable downward in height.

Slice the corners with a utility knife and fold the flaps down on top of
the product. Trim one or two edges where necessary. Tape tight.

You can get free boxes from Glantz. Usually I order coro by the skid
but I split a 500 piece order with a fellow sign shop as we both were
low and Glantz has a special coro/sign stake deal going on right now.
The coro was delivered 100 to a box. Didn't expect that. Nice!!!

It is not too high for an adjustable height box. Just charge more! If a buck makes you lose the job you are not charging enough anyway!
