Need Help vj1624 printing problem

During an overnight run our 1624 seemed to have a hiccup and then it started printing normal, see first two photos. We are unsure what the cause might be and hopeful some can give us advice. An equipment salesman thought it might be an electrical surge but each machine has it's own surge protector.

If anyone can give us an idea of what the problem might be it would be appreciated.
