Weird Cutting Things out of order??

Hey guys...Roland SP300V here.

We have not changed the settings or way we do ANYTHING. I just noticed yesterday and today that if we load artwork into versaworks, make (lets say) 35 copies of the same sticker and then print/cut....the stickers get cut by completely out of order.

Before it would cut them in this order (staring at front of machine) then move onto the next row up and do the same...

7 ---6 --- 5 --- 4 --- 3 --- 2 --- 1 (this side closest to docking station)

Now, it seems it's completely random order that it cuts the stickers...

4 --- 6 --- 7 --- 2 --- 5--- 3 --- 1 (this side closest to docking station)

The order in which it's cutting each row seems consistent...but I don't know what the heck would cause this? Roland seems stumped? The cuts are perfect and right on target still...no problem there...just wondering why it's cutting in random order.

Anyone else seen this?

Unless you have your software set to sort your cutter will cut in order images were produced or copied. Most likely not a plotter issue.

where might I check those settings? They're all the same sticker....just 35 copies of the same sticker.

If it's one sticker tiled multiple times by versaworks that is strange, if you have layed out the whole line width wise, then multiplied that, then it is what order you layed them out in your software.

Agreed, sounds strange indeed.

Yes...one piece of art....i typed 35 instead of the default one, and ripped it.

Roland really needs a sequential cut function in VW- although since I bought
a GX500 cutter to pair with my VP540 I don't notice the wild end to end
motions that I got when cutting with the printer. Still will cut here and there
in no apparent patterns tho.

SO i'm not the only person having this happen? It never used to do this before...wondering if it has something to do with a versaworks update?
