I started doing some window tint graphics on retail store windows and i have been staying away from exterior installs when there is a factory tint on the glass .When window film is out side the clear coat starts to get flaky after a couple of yrs.. It doesnt fade so i need some thing clear to protect the tint. The thinnest clear exterior window film i can get is 4 mil . I was wondering about using a 1 mil laminate they use for digital printing to protect the tint from the elements . Tint is made of polyester . I know regular vinyl will stick to tint . What do you guys think about the durability ?
