Another Perforated Window graphic question

Robert Boyd

Customer requests a perforated window graphic,
but want the art profile cut. I think I read on here
that it is not a good idea to cut like this. It is an outside
of glass installation. So I will be laminating.
It will be up at least a year.

For such a small area (of the total of the rectangle), I would do it on regular vinyl.

Unless the client is wanting full coverage to help reduce heat from the window. I would suggest to use a different form of media. Perhaps print and use a clear adhesive type vinyl or a clear vinyl. There is very little coverage from the graphics.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't worried about cutting it - I was concerned about all the edges lifting
after the install. Some of the graphics cover more area. The attached image
is the most detailed.

Contour cut the laminate larger than the image and it will seal the edges. Print the perf and hand cut and contout cut the lam. You can apply the print then the laminate or do it as you would with printed vinyl laminated.
