CLEAR OR OPAL PERSPEX?

I am making 3 light boxes for a take away and will be using a Translucent vinyl print. I am just wondering whether to use clear or opal perspex for the panels. Any advice appreciated.

We use opal for all light boxes. It softens the light to get a more even look across the whole panel. Clear can lead to hot spots across the image where the tubes/LEDs are.
