Hp latex 570 question

Hello I'm buying a used hp latex 570 from the company i work for they upgraded to the new latex.
I used to have a roland 545 which runs on versaworks.
I tried downloading the driver from hp but it wouldn't let me.
I have a laptop with windows 10 that I used to use for versaworks.
Do I have to upgrade my laptop for it to run the hp software?
I really don't want to invest in a rip at this time.
Any help would be appreciated

There are no OS-based drivers for any HP Latex printer. They all require the use of a RIP.

Don't forget, onyx will let you run a trial... not sure how many times you could install on the same pc, but doubt the printer cares.
What did your company replace it with? If it's the 700w, you may find yourself printing lots for them...
