Hello!
What is the best way to get the most original color from a raster image that was placed in an illustrator file that also contains spot colors (ie, a file containing a spot color plus 1 raster image)?
Here's what we did so far:
We saved the file as a PDF with the output set at No Conversion and to include no profiles.
In the RIP software (Onyx Postershop), we set it to have our Vector Art include profiles and Raster Art to not. (as opposed to all on or all off...)
-This gave us the nice spot color printed accurately.
What we want to know is how we can acheive getting the most accurate colors from the raster image (given that our equipment is calibrated and such)
Sorry if this was loaded...Just trying to wrap my head around it!
