Need Help Roland xc540 error 0004

After shutting down for a day, to get a cartridge, my xc540 throws this 0004 code. My local tech, said to shut off main power, drop the cap station, move the print head to the middle of the platen, and turn on. This worked only once, unplugged for a storm, same code. It's called a Sub CPU SRAM error. So should I be looking for a servo board? Any sources of used parts, or board level repair places?

kent from macmedia did board level repairs, he retired

what i would do is do an ebay search for roland board repairs, and they will list specific boards

your best bet would be find someone with good feedback, and use the "ask seller a question" function and see if they can do yours

keep in mind the time value of having the machine not functional for so many days

I might have a servo board cheap if you need one. Retired our xc540 last year and stripped all the boards before tossing it so I should have one
