TBT Carved sign

Saw this a few weeks ago. One of the earlier HDU carved signs we did, maybe 25 years ago?
Carved, gilded, smalt background, aluminum columns. Holding up well.

When you really study it, it appears ALL the letters are varying heights.

I'm not seeing that but do see the second "A" does look bigger than the first one. probably just the trick of the light.

love the look of the sign. nice and clean. the black smalt with the gold leaf must look awesome. love the pillars

The letters being different sizes is likely because they're on a curve and 20 years ago, it resulted in letters getting a little funky.

I think the photo/light may be causing a bit of distortion.
The font looks like Baskerville which has a capital "A" that is taller.
Also the lettering arc should match the sign arc better, and I wish I had put more space between the arced letters and the panel under it, and maybe made the address numeral a little smaller....
