hi,
i have an old but stubborn plotter summa d60 with serial and ltp ports.
i´ve been using it with my pc win 7 (x64) and axago serial port / see below
i´d like to use it with laptop, so is there any external serial port or other way to do the job?
thanks for any tips!
hi,
i´m not an inventor, i just like my plotter to become a perfect machine for my needs.
i wonder why someone prefer buying a new machine, rather than upgrade the older loved one.
i like this one:

hi
I thought something like this, but for cutting plotters like summa, not table plotters.
this video is from 2010, there must be a lot of interesting things since then.

hi,
wondering if anyone convert his/her cutting plotter to led laser cutter, especially for thick rubber vinyl.
i know it´s a dangerous to play with a strong laser, but isn´t it a bit easier to turn your machine into cutting beast, rather than buy a new machine?
thanks for passing by.
thanks for reply.
i know , that every photo is unique ( dpi resolution and so on), but i don´t have any sample right now.
i´d like to make a few versions in advance, and then choose the best one.
best of luck!

i use Coreldraw and Photoshop.
any tips and suggestions will be very appreciated! Thanks!

i usually use winplot, but wincut has been my favorite for years :-)

hi,
i´d like to know more about cutting plotters for rubber stencils for sandblasting ( wood -stone )
we´ve summa d60, but it seems pretty week to cut such a thick vinyl foil as rubber mask ( correct me, if i´m wrong:-)
what about this a small hobby one for the start? :-)...
hi,
you´re right too, but i just want to make it a private space from outside ( just simple in this case )
otherwise some interesting patterns would be cool too http://www.sign-maker.net/gifts/window-art.htm
or funny version here...
you´re right, me too:-)
but there is no other option, because one of the windows is 1368 x 1265mm ( 53.85 x 49.80in ), and vinyl is max. 1200mm
anyway, thanks for reply.
