  1. Mimaki Tech

How do I do a "full flush"? Right I'm using solvent carts and pulling it through the lines that connect to the dampers in the head.
  2. Mimaki Tech

I still have residue like this in my orange and yellow line. Should I be worried? I can't to get these lines completely flushed.
  3. Mimaki Tech

Also just realized they sent me the wrong cleaning carts. I got sent PN FL003-Z-22.
  4. Mimaki Tech

I started this process tonight. Some colors seemed to flush with ease. While others have a lot of dried ink in the syringe. Is this normal? I'm assuming I'll need multiple flush carts. Right now my plan is to let the flush fluid sit in the lines overnight. Hopefully breaking down any dried...
  5. Mimaki Tech

Are there any Mimaki Techs on here located in Michigan? I need some help getting my printer going again. Its a CJV150. Basically, it needs the lines flushed and a new printhead installed. I plan on doing it myself, but if I can find someone to help that'd be great. I will obviously pay...
  6. STS SS21 Inks

What kind of experience does everyone have with these inks? I have used them in the past never had an issue (I somehow had more issues with the Mimaki inks). These carts are half the price so to me, thats the appealing part. I am about to replace my printhead and want to do everything...

    Can you please provide context?

Forgot to mention my machine is a CJV150-130
  9. Line flush procedure

Hi everyone, Unfortunately, I have let my printer sit for some time while disconnected from power. I know I will need a new print head, dampers, and cap - but what is the best way to take care of the ink lines? Is it easier to just replace them at this point? Or is flushing them the better...
  10. Mimaki CJV150 only printing magenta

How do I confirm that the cap is sealing properly? I replaced it a month ago or so. I just replaced the hose that came with the cap to no avail. I pulled ink through the damper and it seemed to refill. I'm at a loss at this point. I'm back to having basically no nozzles again. No ryhme or...
  11. Mimaki CJV150 only printing magenta

Have they already been compromised? These dampers have been removed 3-4 times now.
  12. Mimaki CJV150 only printing magenta

So I was able to get some nozzles back. I noticed the orange line from the damper looks much more transparent compared to the line from the solenoid. About 6 inches back from the damper is transparent. I removed the dampers again and noticed some weren't even filled all the way. What are...
  13. Mimaki CJV150 only printing magenta

Yesterday I did a bunch of cleanings, ink fills, and removed the dampers in hopes of agitating something to get my printhead back, but it did the opposite. Now I have nothing. When I push on the dampers ink will drip out, so I can assume from the cartridges to the dampers is OK?
  14. Mimaki CJV150 only printing magenta

Thank you. I will reach out to them. I'm willing to try anything. My Mimaki rep says I should be able to recover the printhead.

It's able to fill and drain the cap with fluid. How do I confirm the cap is sealing properly? It was just replaced with an OEM one. Are you talking about injecting fluid by removing the dampers and pushing fluid through the head? I was told this will immediately damage these printheads.
