Are there any Mimaki Techs on here located in Michigan? I need some help getting my printer going again. Its a CJV150.

Basically, it needs the lines flushed and a new printhead installed. I plan on doing it myself, but if I can find someone to help that'd be great. I will obviously pay you for your time.

I have the flush carts, new dampers, new cap, new pump, and the head is on the way.

Based in OKC, but if you need remote guidance, lots of people on the forum. Tends to be a straight-forward operation and the CJV150 is a lot easier than the CJV300 since it just has a single head.

youtube vids are a great resource. this guy walks you through his process pretty well.
biggest concern during replacement is making sure you keep ink from dripping into electrical components, as those ribbon cables LOVE channeling a drop of ink into an expensive part.

i have, however, recovered a printhead with a drop of ink in the connections but it is tedious work involving strips of cardstock and cleaning solution. dab dab, replace & repeat a million times, then do it again with isopropyl & allow a day or two to dry.

I started this process tonight. Some colors seemed to flush with ease. While others have a lot of dried ink in the syringe. Is this normal? I'm assuming I'll need multiple flush carts.

Right now my plan is to let the flush fluid sit in the lines overnight. Hopefully breaking down any dried ink in the lines.

Also just realized they sent me the wrong cleaning carts. I got sent PN FL003-Z-22.

Shouldn't need multiple cartridges, but the lines can be pretty rough. Not a bad idea to keep a bulk bottle of flush, like a liter, handy as well for cleaning fittings, damper connections and such with lint free cloths. Remember to wear gloves, that stuff be nasty.

i used to make my own cleaning/flushing solution and reload my carts with a syringe.
saved a ton of $$$ throughout the years. costs something like $100 for two gallons (or 34 cleaning carts-worth)... sooo, 1/10th the cost?
if you're running the ss21 solvent inkset, I believe the formula is still somewhere on these forums via myself or artbot.

I still have residue like this in my orange and yellow line. Should I be worried? I can't to get these lines completely flushed.

Pretty common to see residue in lines, the screens in the dampers keep it at bay typically. If you have gone a long time and lots of lines start getting kinda chunky, a full flush might not be a bad idea.

How do I do a "full flush"? Right I'm using solvent carts and pulling it through the lines that connect to the dampers in the head.

Full flush is typically with cleaning cartridges. Can also try using some pipe cleaners on the ends.
