Terry01 Both are from the new head. One before changing the black damper and the others after I did the cable mistake. All other conditions the same. Air bubble extracted from lines, ink charge and cleaned. That's why I'm wondering if the cable mistake could have damaged the printerhead!
Terry01 I was able to attach the before and after incident nozzle tests. These are after a series of syringe air extraction, ink charge and cleaning and waisting so much ink out of the system. After each action, we got a new result in our nozzle test. So you don't think detaching the cable could...
I have a Mutoh VJ 426UF. After installing a new head, I did a nozzle check and noticed only one color wasn't printing. I figured something must be wrong with the damper and tried to change it. I accidentally disconnected one of the cables while the printer was in standby. The machine made some...

Thanks
Thanks you so much unmateria for your response.
- I removed the damper caps and directly did the test on the tubes to ensure the new caps are not the problem.
- I don't know what the rubber pad inside the head is but I also rule that one out since the syringe test fails without the...
After some colors stopped printing, I changed the head and dampers but I made the situation worse. No ink is printing on the nuzzle check after multiple ink charges.
I noticed that the ink is not getting pulled with the syringe and there is no pressure when pulling the ink. Cartridges are new...
I have to change my printer head and I thought this is a good time to switch from 4 colors to 6 (to get the white color) but I've noticed that the head only accepts 4 dampers. Is this change possible or it needed to configure by the manufacturer to run with 6 colors?
If possible, what are the...
My printer currently has 4 colors and I want to switch to a 6 color in order to be able to print white.
I'm planning to change the color dampers but do I also need to change the tubes that feed them? Or just taking the color out of them through a Syringe is enough? What else should I be doing...
Gino you were right on. I lowered the head and the problem is 99% gone. Seems like I just need to make some small adjustments to the placement and it's gonna be perfect. Thanks again for the input!
Thanks Gino. Since it's a wood floor, I didn't think it would be the static but if it is, how would I get rid of that?
I dismantled the metal box that holds the head and maybe I reinstalled it a bit high. I will try to lower it down a bit. Thanks for the recommendation.
