i'd like to upgrade to versaworks dual or version 6, do you know if it's possible ?
on the Roland website it seem to be not possible...another way perhaps ? by forcing it ?

Do you think the CE2000-60 is still workable (it worked for the last time on vista and coreldraw x4)
the only way to connect it to the computer is via a serial port, are there any USB adapters?
and what about cutting master compatibility with coreldraw 20 and win11 ?

as i have 2 old SP540 (not working), recently i could repair my XC540 with the old SP540 bearing blocks...
so i was wondering if there is any other compatible parts between the two

No need to try the servoboard, as i can feel the run of the carriage in my hand, it was definitively the bearing blocks...
and fortunately i got 2 old sp540v with the same bearing blocks...so i swope it and it works !

ok i will try for the bearing blocks, is it difficult to change them ?, is someone got a tutorial for this ?
also a technician is going to lend me a servoboard like that i could try without losing money to be sure...

got this trouble, test print is good but when i send a job, the printer start to print and after a few goings and comings it stop with the scan motor error 0090 0080 warning...

No Jim, done nothing in the print head cavity, but i will take a look on it...
ok i will do these 2 things : head soak and reseat the ribbon cables
