  2. HP 335 Edge Detection ERROR

Okay I cleaned the encoder strip really well, I am not finding any setting to allow me to calibrate the line sensor. Do you know where I can find that?
  3. HP 335 Edge Detection ERROR

Thank you for this! When you say encoder/sensor are you talking about the encoder strip? Carriage motor is a possibility I suppose but seems to function normally with the exception of loading new media.
  4. HP 335 Edge Detection ERROR

Good Morning Signs 101 Crew, I have an HP 335 Latex and honestly it's been a great machine. About 3 weeks ago everything was humming along like normal and I needed to change out some media. Went through the normal steps and it was doing it's thing when I hear a KaChunk...BEEP BEEP BEEP error...
  5. Question Mutoh XpertJet 661UF

Yes. Are you using a sticky mat like a seklema? If not get one. Clean the back of your substrates really good, use the sticky mat, and drop your UV lamp control percentage to 50% on all boxes and use machine width for your shuttle width as opposed to data width in the settings. Ink will cure...
  6. CorelDraw, where to learn?

    Doug Green is amazing.
  7. Need Help Blast Mask

I have a client that is wanting to sandblast a logo of just block lettering onto a stainless steel counter and they are asking for a blast mask. I am not worried about adhesion so much as a product that will hold up to the blasting, leaving nice clean lines around the letters. Any product out...
  8. DCS 7200z error 1439

DCS Machines are a nightmare... Side Note: I have one for sale if anyone is interested.
  9. JRS CLOSING

I hadn't, thank you for the tip!
  10. JRS CLOSING

I could really use a source for the Curved frames they used to sell. JPP has a few but not the right size. You used to be able to get one that fit a 8.5x14 insert.
  11. Question Mutoh XpertJet 661UF

I have a 661 and yeah you do need to shake the ink pretty regularly. It will alert you to shake either W or All the cartridges. I have left it for a few days and you just need to come back, shake everything and run a short clean. Should be good to go.
  12. Question Printing to powder coating.

I have a Mutoh XpertJet 661UF UV printer and it works well on powder coated panels. I also use bohle metal primer on them with great success. I have also used some DTF transfers to powder coating with great results.
  13. GFP Laminators

355TH Owner here. Been happy with it overall, and any issues that I have had with it were 100% my fault. Also the heat works great for laminating UV DTF Transfers or if you want to laminate hard substrates.
  14. Rant Customer Rant

By far the most common frustration I have is trying to explain what art file I need. "But, It's right there, I can see it on the computer screen, it looks fine."
  15. Lexjet Latex 831 Inks

Interesting... They were on there a few weeks ago. I did call into Lexjet to ask some questions and get more info about customer satisfaction etc. Guy I talked to was pretty confident that they worked every bit as good. Sited a few incidents where a cartridge didn't work for one reason or...
