  1. Gerber GS15 plus won't boot up...Help if you can.

Rob, but aft I would go ahead and change the fuse out anyway since you've gotten this far. After that I would contact: theplotterdoctor.com and see what he thinks. He does repairs on Gerber and other plotters. Steve
  2. Gerber GS15 plus won't boot up...Help if you can.

Rob, According to my user manual (pages 53 & 54) you need to remove the power and data cords. There is a small notch on the right edge of the black plastic plate on the power port. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the notch and pry open. You should now be able to see the light gray...
  3. New purchase Roland VS-540I

Anthony, Why did the dealer try to steer you away from the VS-540i? I wouldn't think you would have any more or less color matching issues with either printer. For about $3000 more you could have a new printer, also with a full 2 year warranty. I am not familiar with the xc540 to know how...
  4. Brand New Window Films on the Market!!!

I'd like pricing also. Is there any chance of obtaining a small sample? Steve
  5. For Sale SP-540V

I have a Roland SP-540V for sale. This has been a very good printer with low print hours. Has had dealer servicing from the time it was purchased. PECK report available for serious inquiries. Test print shows no deflection or dropout. I am asking $10,500 which would include the printer...
  6. New purchase Roland VS-540I

JP, I like the front loading feature especially because the Roland inks are only available in 440 ml. On the SP-540, the 440ml cartridges stuck out too far and I was always bumping them. With them in the front they are not in the way. Steve
  7. New purchase Roland VS-540I

VS-540i For tax reasons,at the end of last year I purchased a new VS-540i to replace a still good printing SP-540V (which I have for sale if anyone is interested). So far I have been very impressed with the speed and the quality of colors, especially blacks and grays. No more green or purple...
  8. Gerber Edge 2 Print Issue - Partial Head Drop?

I had an issue with my Edge I where it would print everything but a 1.5" strip. I just knew it was a bad print head. I contacted Gerber Tech support and they knew immediately what it was. There is a data cable that runs to the print head and it had become crimped and had broken some of the...
  9. Consumable??

If these are the same struts that are on the Edge LE, then you should be able to buy direct from the mfg. (Service Plus Distibutors, Bristol, PA.) or from your NAPA store. There is a part no. on the strut to designate the type and size. They are quite a bit cheaper than from Gerber. Steve
  10. Contour Cut Edge Prints w/GX-24

Did you get this to work or not? I've been trying for a couple of months to find an answer to this so would like to know just exactly what you need to do in order to do this. Steve
  11. EDGE contour cut with Roland?

  12. EDGE contour cut with Roland?

Bill, I've turned the PM option on. Please send me your information. Thanks, Steve
  13. EDGE contour cut with Roland?

Bill, Please give me more info on how to do this. I am printing on the Edge I and trying to cut with the Roland GX-24. Thanks, Steve
  14. EDGE contour cut with Roland?

Arlo, Did you ever get your Roland to contour cut your Edge prints? If you did, can you post what you had to do to get it to work? Roland's tech support said that they can only help on their stuff and to go to Gerber to find the answer. Thanks, Steve
  15. Exporting EPS files

Sorry to be so late in responding but I've been away from the shop. I was having problems with both raster and vector eps files exported out of Corel X3. I uninstalled both the VersaWorks and Corel and reinstalled them. What ever was happening, is not happening now. The same files are now...
