  1. New Latex Flatbed Info.

Build your own profile and shop your own ink. Should be .05 to .07.
  2. New Latex Flatbed Info.

That is why I came to Fespa. Again, nice printer. 3 and 4 pass washed out. No optimizer print not acceptable with durability and dot spread. Would have to buy 10 to compete with EFI. HP’s marketing team is second to none IMO. $6 per 4x8 in ink is outrageous, but HP is not a printer company...

  4. New Latex Flatbed Info.

That was Cmyk only. Twice they started printing white on both days to dibond and cancelled both jobs, So can’t give a speed.
  5. New Latex Flatbed Info.

Observations from Fespa: 1. Nice appearance 2 with drying and continual feed on same substrate it is a 6 minute 4x8 board they are showing 3 can scratch ink with fingernail 4 color is good 5 Lose detail below 8 point knockout font 6 quoting 18 cents per square foot with heads. Conclusion? Good...
  6. HP Announce R Series Flatbed Latex printer

250K with tables. 5 minutes between rigid substrate changes to change oven temps. No styrene? 6 pass 14 boards an hour? They are keeping 550 and 750 in line because many can’t afford this printer.
  7. TORN!!! 3 flatbed.... help me choose...

Jim, It is not an easy decision. You need to balance your needs vs wants. Really, only you can make the right decision for your company. It is a huge investment. I am scared to death everytime I make it. CET:By far the fastest of the three printers. They are proven, with lots of great...
  8. SGIA 2012 and CET

lol Colorado Signs, I would hope that that is not the printer being sold in the US. If it is, it would be up for 1 days and down for 6 each week I bet. In the chinese market, the expectations are much different as far as service (no warranty) and support, as well as quality of...
  9. SGIA 2012 and CET

I own a konica head and spectra head CET. The software and smoothing is much better on the X-Press 500 (spectra) than the konica. You will be ver pleased. It is also 3 times faster than the konica, and you do not have as many head drop outs. Nicky, you are in the chinese market selling...
  10. flat bed printers

Mark, Pm me if you want to know about flatbeds. I've had quite a few. The last two I had are CET color ( the XPress, and the fk512 (this is the model they designed years ago with flora, that flora now sells direct). I just came back from the show. Two printers stood out Oce and CET color...
  11. Océ Arizona 318 GL

Nicky, Oces ink contract with china is much different than the US The Ricoh head is much better than the t-tech head, as it's firing consistency is much truer. CET has two inks too. Call them. The gamut with the 49 series is much better than oce's, but you give up adhesion. I use it everyday.
  12. Need source of supply for UV flatbed tubing parts

Go to CET, unless you are on credit hold or something else. It is not all the same.
  13. Who's UV printer has the best quality print

I wouldn't worry about longevity with CET and Ernie's family money. I would worry about HP buying them!
  14. Print head warranties, help me win an argument

All, I am arguing with a friend of mine. What is the normal printhead warranty for UV printers? I know CET Color is 1 year against manufactures defects. What are the others? Oce 360GT Fuji Aquity Agfa M series HP 500/700 others? Ben
