If i understood the problem correctly i have a solution. Personally i would Go into the diagnostics menu when 1st starting the printer. Reset the EEprom, this will allow you to add the printheads and cartridges as if it were a new machine.
Desperate for some Help.
After not using my HP Latex L260 (L26500) printer for around 2 months, it gets stuck on initialising Please Wait when Booting up (turning on)
Loads up the HP Load screen where it counts down then Moves on to the Initialising please wait screen with an hour glass...
Solution for Replace ink Cartridge error was simply a new cartridge.
I did clean the "pip" connector that connects to the cartridge as I spotted a little bit of ink on one if the little connectors.
I'm still wondering what caused the issue in the 1st place as it had 600ml out 775ml.
Is a survey basically checking out a possible sign location and reporting back the condition, ease of access of the place?
1st time hearing about people getting paid for " sign surveys"
Thank you very much everyone. I will report back when the new cartridge arrives for those in the future asking the same question.
Lesson learnt, I must have more than one of each colour even if the ink quantity is full.

Hello all. 1st ever post.
I am running a Hp latex L26500.
Turned It on in the morning to start the day, I got a Replace Faulty Light Magenta Cartridge Error.
the Cartridge has over 600ml of ink out of 775ml.
I cleaned the Cartridge and printer electrical contacts. Reaeated, problem still exists...
