    The JV3-250SP is covered until December 2016, so most parts will be available until at least then.

    Source: Supplement for the Basic Operation manual (MAPS function) On the JV33, MAPS is only available from FW 5.60. The machine can be upgraded, and I don't know of any downside to the upgrade.
