Hi Robert The error (wrong head) means that the head cables were not connected correctly. See the attached photo to see the correct way to connect them. and the head is an Epson Model, Roland Mutoh or Mimaki they use the same Roland head, it is not a problem for whoever sells it.

that's strange the slider board is in charge of sending the voltage signal to the head, it reads the encoder and some sensors. but if the printer turns off I don't think it's the slider .. but how does the printer turn off??? just do the process to turn off or are you just printing and out of...

Hi what you can do is return to factory settings. enter to funcion then setup then user 1 then setup reset and you would return to the factory settings.

Hi in maintennace there is an option it said routine setup then cleaning change the time for 8 hours try it... or go to setup reset and all the values return a factory settings. and do the drop post correct and start like new.
