My opinion would be to go with the 55" laminator. Since your only printing 54" then why the need for a larger laminator? You can get a lot done with 54" material. If you upgrade down the road to larger printer then maybe you'd want to go larger with the laminator too. I have a 64" printer...
I have a 7000 series Graphtec and cut fine with smaller registration marks (1/2"). I do have to set my margin in my RIP (Wasatch) before printing. Just curious if you are setting margins? On 30" material I set those to (top to bottom....I'm not at my work so I can't tell you tab names off...

Does anyone know who the national manufacturer(s) is for Sears? There's a new store being built in my City and the current store manager doesn't know who the national fabricator is.
