Did you ever get a solution to this OP? I'm having an ongoing, similar issue with my machine but only on heavy colour coverage. It's nearly out of warranty so any suggestions as to possible causes would be appreciated so I can put them to the dealer.

Did you manage to get a fix for this in the end? We're having the same issue on ours. Not as bad but close to what you had.
