  1. Symbol Sign Version of this message

Skull and crossbones used to be a standard symbol for poisons like arsenic. Might be a little dated, but I think it was even used in vintage cartoons.
  2. Advice for starting local print shop

You could try reaching out to local shops as a contractor to be farmed out to. Either you have capabilities they don't, or for handling overflow. It'd put some product on your machines and probably be easier than trying to reach out to the public since you already have one business going. Could...
  3. 3D Printed Dimensional Letters

Sure makes my Qidi Q1 Pro look like a wimp that's for sure.
  4. 3D Printed Dimensional Letters

As long as that Eclypse lam can take the heat of whatever filament you're going to print with. So at least 50c below and 220c from the nozzle, sure I guess that'd work.
  5. 3D Printed Dimensional Letters

That does look nice. Will the texturing on the top surface be a problem with the ASA regs?
  6. 3D Printed Dimensional Letters

Have to be careful what filament you use, some don't like to get too warm, like PLA. It'll warp in the Texas sun. Also has to be structurally sound to take a screw like that. What kind of filament was this?
  7. PCBs for signmakers

I did 20 years in electronics repair before getting into print/wide format, so I may be particularly biased to Printed Circuit Board.
  8. Suggestions Looking for low cost preflight software

I was just saying I like Affinity, never tried to use it to preflight, and don't think I'd want to.
  9. Suggestions Looking for low cost preflight software

Another vote for Pitstop. Affinity is nice too, I use it home for my home based side gig.
  10. Regulations for the bucket truck operator in Vancouver

Looks more like a time lapse of a restless sleeper than a break dancer.
  11. Inflation

The quote from 2017 is irrelevant, your costs aren't the same, as I'm sure his operating costs aren't either. Requote it as normal, and compare that to the original quote. It'll be more relevant to your specific situation and line of work than a generic value curve for the dollar nationally...
  12. Laminator Purchase Checklist

If you ever do crane drop it...we need video. Just sayin'....
  13. HAHAHAHA

Glad I already have the Affinity suite at home. Can't wait to see what Canva AI stuff comes out looking like. Or to have to work on them.
  14. There is an echo in here

I was posting a reply earlier, and it an error message came up saying it couldn't post it. I closed it and exited the thread and reentered, and sure enough, there was my post. I think people are getting this error and reposting until they don't, but the software posts each time they hit submit...
  15. HP R1000 on 6mm bevelled Sintra

Would priming before printing help that ink reception?
