  1. Roland SP300V Sleep Interval Purging

I've had the same problem. It got 90% better after replacing the head caps but I don't know if the two are related.
  2. Suggestions Where to find/buy vector comic story board

There is a artist on Depositphoto.com that may have what your looking for. (bomg11) Copyright free and you can buy reproduction rights reasonably. But, I believe one mural would come under fair usage rights for copyright free images...
  3. Another VG Issue

Couldn't hurt to check the pump lines for possible hardening, cracks, air leak or blockage & make sure the yellow ink cartridge is properly seated. Agree with RJS. It seem air must be getting in somewhere.
  4. SP300V factory test print not 100% black?

The printer also "makes" black by using M,C & Y. (no need to use the B) This is similar to a RGB Black and mixing paint. You can get a nice black with paint by mixing all the primary colors together. I haven't actually mastered creating a print file where I can "force" the printer to use only...
  5. SP300V factory test print not 100% black?

That's happen to me. (same printer) Some cyan has back flowed into the head/damper/ink supply tube (depending on the amount of migration). Mine was Magenta in the yellow after a head soak. (Easier to see in test print) Cleaning cycles and printing all day didn't clear it up. I end up unhooking...
  6. What could cause this?

This is a shot in the dark. Maybe from our extremely cold winter. Vinyl gets stretchy when you heat it up. So, It would make sense that it would become more brittle the colder it gets. We had some really cold weather. The fuel in the tanker holds the cold as apposed to a vehicle that gets...
  7. Where is the best place to purchase supplies for Roland printers?

I like http://www.solventinkjet.com for my Roland sp-300v. Very helpful tech support.
  8. I should know this font. Brain dead this morning.

Thank you so much! I'm going with Amber. and YEAH, I didn't have that font yet. That one has the pretty swooshy hand drawn look my customer is looking for. I hope you all have a great day. Thank you for the help
  9. I should know this font. Brain dead this morning.

Font Guru, Where are you? :) I know I should know this, but I'm drawing a blank this morning. Anyone wanna help before I go one by one through my 1500 font collection? Thank You in Advance.
  10. Roland Ink Scam?

I always have about 10% of ink left in the (max life eco-sol) cartridge when it says it's empty. I save 'em up and take a syringe, suck, pull, and combine the leftovers into one. But I'm just frugal like that.

    Stop-Collaborate-and-listen

photo shopped. I wouldn't really do this.
  13. What Is Youw Vinyl Removal Process

Heat, adhesive remover and Wensco's "Lil' Chizler" to save your nails. Adhesive remover can make a gooey mess that's hard to get off. I like to sprinkle it with baby powder or baking soda. It will turn into something similar to rubber cement and roll off. jmo I hate taking off decals. I...
  14. Looking For A Something Other Than Typical White Cut Vinyl

What is your customer selling? How dark/tinted is the door? How far is the customer/ reader? There are so many wonderful vinyl options...but like fonts, they have personalities. I wouldn't put pretty pink frosted vinyl on, let's say, an oil change shop. But, that same vinyl may rock on a...
  15. Need A Roland Tech

I also have one of those printers. The usb cable placement is horrible and has been bumped hard more than once. Eventually, I will have to replace the internal usb plug, but have kept it running several years now with a new usb cord and a small shim underneath to keep both plugs...
