This is the most frustrating problem I've ever encountered with a JV3. I'm still getting head error 07 but here's the problem, it doesen't indicate any head it shows (_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _). I've replaced all the ribbon cables (slider to head) hooked...
New dampers for sure and also replace the o-rings under the metal screw cap at the end of the ink lines they are probably dried out by now. Look for leaks at the other end of the ink lines where they connect to the cartridge slots the o-rings on that end may have dried out to.

I did check all the cables they were replaced about 6 months ago and they look like they are in great condition no ink on the contact area and all contacts look good no missing...
I have a JV3 160SP that boots into service mode without any function/remote being pressed during boot. Has anyone seen this problem or does anyone know how to fix?
I am getting an error on a JV3 250SP head error 007. The service manual states it could be a head or a board is there any way of pinpointing which head it might be or if it is indeed a board problem??????
It's not that difficult but it does require some mechanical ability and some knowledge of the machine. Has the head been like this or did it just start recently?
Make sure your cap for that head is in good shape. If it's worn and not making good contact it will not pull the proper volume of ink through the head causing the dropout your seeing. If this is something that just started happening that is the first place I would look. If the cap is good look...
