I have a Colex and had the same issues. It does have the conveyor. Zero is never zero even after a table map. Added a Kongsberg C64 and eliminated almost all of my issues. If the stock is old it can still crack. That seems to be the only very random issue.

I am. Perfect working condition we just needed faster equipment. White ink option, extended tables and roll to roll. I have the edge guard kits if you plan to do packaging but I would have to sell them separately. They cost 8K.

the problem is the oring between the upper lower ink reservoir. Its a simple fix but also and expensive repair if you damage the unit. But before you look into that, when you engage the pump when you purge air, is the magenta pump working?

if you are printing rolls of vinyl or wallpaper the kala shines. If it's your first cutting device look at a cnc like a Colex or esko. You can still cut all of your roll to roll media but have the advantage of cutting rigid boards.

Outgassing times unless over saturating your media is a marketing ploy. Epson surecolor laminated right away…never an issue
